At this point in the process, a list should be put together that clarifies which Windows Server 2012 version is to be used, which version of server software will be used, which add-in features are required, and which third-party applications are needed. As discussed previously, Windows Server 2012 comes in Standard and Datacenter Editions. Windows Server 2012 comes in a 64-bit version only, eliminating the 32-bit version of the server operating system.
