A large-sized company wants to implement Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V to consolidate a number of unmanaged tier 2 and tier 3 SQL server databases, since these databases have become business critical. One of the deployment blockers that is stopping this company from carrying out such a SQL consolidation exercise is the fact that their existing storage area network (SAN) does not currently offer support for Windows Server 2012.
