The destruction of the twin towers in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the hurricane along the Louisiana/Mississippi Gulf Coast, the floods in Eastern Australia, and the tsunamis that have hit Asia all made huge headlines. Countless lives were lost. Families were destroyed.
