I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
VM Compute Resiliency
VM Compute Resiliency is a new feature in Windows Server 2016. It provides the capability to deal with transient failures, as these types of failure have become more commonplace than hardware failures. Reacting adversely to these types of failures can actually cause more system downtime than the transient failure itself.
So, what is a transient failure? It could be where the cluster service on a node has stopped, and the node becomes disconnected from the cluster and appears to be unable to communicate with any other node within the active cluster or there is an asymmetric disconnect. Here, the cluster service is attempting to communicate with all nodes within the cluster, the isolated node can talk to at least one other node ...
