Using Picture Libraries
Most of the content that organizations work with on a daily basis is textual in nature. Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files are the primary files that most organizations store, though some graphical files are stored as well. The SharePoint team site provides picture libraries to efficiently store, view, and retrieve graphical information.
Creating Picture Libraries
A new team site doesn’t contain a picture library by default, but one can be easily created using the following procedure:
