Offline Capabilities in WSS 3.0

It is now easier than ever to take your SharePoint content offline while you are on the go. With Outlook 2007, users can work offline with content in libraries as well as certain lists such as contacts, tasks, calendars, and discussions. When you are able to connect back to the network, your files easily sync back up to the SharePoint server.

Access 2007 also has the ability to work with data from a SharePoint site that is offline. After links between Access 2007 tables and SharePoint lists are created, users can use Access 2007 to work with and analyze list data offline. Just like in Outlook 2007, once the user is reconnected to the network, the data can be synchronized back to the SharePoint server.
