Installing SBS 2008

Okay—we’ve prepared our server, created our answer file, and we’re ready to go. Time to install SBS 2008. We’re going to follow the normal steps covered in Chapter 5, except that we’re using the answer file we created earlier in this chapter. Insert the removable media with the SBSAnswerFile.xml, insert your Installation DVD, and turn on the server.

Note

You won’t actually need the answer file to be available until the Windows Server 2008 portion of the installation completes.
