Navigate Media Player

When Media Player opens, you’ll see a black toolbar across the top and two panes below that. On the toolbar are your main features in the form of tabs:

  • Now Playing. This tab shows you which media is playing. You can also see visualizations on this tab.

  • Library. This tab is where you manage your media content and share music with other computers on your network.

  • Rip. This tab lets you copy music or other audio files to your computer.

  • Burn. This tab lets you copy media from your computer to a DVD or CD.

  • Sync. This tab allows you to sync content to and from portable devices.

  • Music. This illustration displays URGE, an online music store. Yours might say Media Guide or another store, depending on whether you have used Media Player before ...
