Use Windows Firewall
You can find the Windows Firewall options and settings where you have found all the other security features included so far in this chapter—from Start, Control Panel, Security. Windows Firewall is an option in the Security window.
A firewall is a software or a hardware solution for keeping your computer safe by unwanted data from passing through your network. A firewall looks at what comes in from the Internet, and if it’s deemed malicious or unwanted, it blocks the data from entering. By default, Windows Firewall is on.
