Connecting to a Virtual Private Network

You can connect to your Windows Vista VPN server with any version of Windows. To connect to a computer where you’ve already configured an incoming VPN connection from a computer running Windows Vista, follow these steps. (The steps are quite similar for users of other Windows versions.)

  1. Open Network And Sharing Center and, in the Tasks pane, click Set Up A Connection Or Network.

  2. In the Choose A Connection Option dialog box, click Connect To A Workplace and click Next.

  3. On the How Do You Want To Connect? page, click Use My Internet Connection (VPN).
