Synchronizing and Sharing Media with Portable Devices

Do you own a portable music player? If so, you might be able to synchronize the contents of that device with the digital music collection on your PC. For iPods, you’ll need to use Apple’s iTunes software; for Microsoft’s Zune, you’ll need to use the Zune software. For all other devices designed for use with Windows, you can use Windows Media Player 11 to establish a working relationship between your device and your music collection. After you complete the initial configuration, you can connect the device to your PC (typically via USB cable) and synchronize the contents of the device automatically or manually.
