Planning a Movie Maker Project

Creating a digital movie with Windows Movie Maker isn’t quite as easy as 1-2-3, but that’s how many steps are involved:

  1. Gather and organize source materials, including video clips, digital photos, and music clips.

  2. Edit the project by trimming video clips, arranging the source material in the correct order on the storyboard and timeline, and adding transitions, visual effects, sound, and titles.

  3. Publish the finished movie as a digital video file or burn it to a DVD or CD.
