Keeping Track of Contacts

Windows Contacts, the contact-tracking program that comes with Windows Vista, can be used as a stand-alone electronic address book, or it can be used in conjunction with Windows Mail, Windows Calendar, and Windows Fax And Scan to provide ready access to your contact information. With Windows Contacts, you can:

  1. Store e-mail addresses, street addresses, phone numbers, and personal information about a contact. You can attach a picture to each contact record.

  2. Create contact groups so that you can send e-mail messages to the entire group. For example, you might create a group for each project you’re working on, or you might create a group for family members.
