I want to start by thanking anyone who took the time to read this book. Frankly, I wrote Wired for Thought primarily for myself—it was something I needed to do. I know it sounds selfish, but it’s true. I do not make my living as an author. Writing this book was important to me because it helped synthesize my thoughts around a number of disparate fields that excite me: science, business, and technology. I often refer to myself as an academic gone bad: part scientist, part philosopher, but mostly an entrepreneur. I struggled to find a good balance between my passions and to convey what excites me about what I do every day. This book is the result and I hope you enjoyed it.
