APPENDIX AMobility Glossary

Although the intended audience of this book is primarily nontechnical, such as IT managers, directors, and program managers, all mobility workers can benefit from knowledge of technical terms and issues. I believed that a person can make more effective contributions if they first understand the basic technical terms and the context in which these items are used. For this reason, an extensive glossary of technical terms is included in this book.
