Cellular FDM-TDMA
The FDM-TDM technique for allocating spectrum and time resources to calls is the most classical one, and systems based on this technique carry a substantial majority of the cellular telephony traffic around the world. Many of the basic techniques of cellular telephony emerged from the design of such systems; for example, techniques such as frequency reuse management, cell sectorization, power control, and handover management.
