I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8Conclusion
This book has sought to answer three questions related to the impact of the Women’s Leadership Series (WLS) of the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). These questions are:
- Did the WLS training effect changes in participants’ leadership behavior, and if so, what were the nature of these changes?
- Did these changes enable alumnae to exercise leadership more effectively?
- What aspects of the WLS teaching and learning methodology facilitated learning and change, and why were these aspects important?
To answer these questions, I interviewed 24 WLS participants who participated in the week-long training program. The women represented many nationalities, recruitment categories (national, regional, international), ...
