Opening an Existing Document

You can open an existing document from the Start screen (New!) when the Word program starts or Open screen by using the File tab. On the Open screen, you can choose a recently used document, locate and select the document on your SkyDrive, SharePoint, or computer. SkyDrive (New!) is a cloud-based online personal storage system, which requires a Microsoft account to access, while SharePoint server (New!) is a cloud-based online organizational storage and management system.
