Reading a Document
Read Mode view is designed with a display and tools optimized for reading a document. Word changes the screen size and removes distracting elements to provide a comfortable view for reading. You can customize the view by changing the column width, page color, and layout, or showing comments. If you want to hide tools, you can use the Auto-hide Reading Toolbar button. You can use the Navigation pane to quickly jump to different parts of your document or search for information within it or on the web using Bing. If a table, chart, or picture is hard to see, you can zoom in and out to view it (New!).
