Once you have inserted a picture or other objects into your document, you can resize them to meet your needs. You can use the sizing handles to quickly resize a picture. When you resize or move objects, a live layout preview (New!) with your changes appear on the page. To resize a picture more precisely, you can use height and width options in the Size group on the Format tab. If you want to set unique or multiple options at the same time, you can use the Layout dialog box (New!). These options allow you to make sure your pictures keep the same relative proportions as the original and lock size proportions.
