When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Blocking Co-authoring Documents
Co-authoring allows multiple people to edit an Office document stored on a SharePoint site. When multiple people open the same Office document from a SharePoint site, the number of authors editing it appears in the Status bar, which you can click to find out who is currently editing it. If the item is not on the Status bar, you can right-click the Status bar to display it. If you don’t want to let multiple authors edit all or part of a Word document, all you need to do is select the content in the document and then use the Block Authors button on the Review tab to prevent others from making changes. At any time, you can release all the blocked areas, so others can edit it.
