Everyone has one, even neat people who proudly profess to be organized. It’s the random stuff drawer. Maybe it’s in the kitchen, or perhaps you have several such storage locations around the home or office. While everything else is organized neat and tidy, you still need a location for stuff that just doesn’t fit anywhere else.

Word features various formatting commands that just don’t fit well with other formatting categories. I wouldn’t call them “random,” although sundry seems to be a good term. It refers to useful items but also those not important enough to be mentioned individually.
