Block Styles
In the last chapter, we explored the power of design tools and walked through each of the tools themselves. We worked through examples together and created some blocks that combined styles together. Now, we are going to move on to looking at a feature called block styles.
In this chapter, we will cover the following topics:
- What is a block style?
- Removing a default block style
- Creating a theme using the Create Block Theme plugin
- Why would you create a custom block style
- Two approaches to create a block style
Together, we will learn to add and remove block styling with PHP and JavaScript. Unlike most chapters in the book, this one will require some coding. However, the coded sections will be explained in detail.
