Chapter 3. Find Your Niche
The phrase, “Jack of all trades, master of none” is a little clichéd, but there’s a reason why it’s so common.
On the whole, it’s absolutely true.
There’s bound to be exceptions, if you look hard enough. But in the most extreme examples, when do you hear of an Oscar-winning actress also collecting gold at the Olympics, or a Formula One world champion winning a Pulitzer Prize for journalism?
You don’t.
It’s the same in business. The companies that gain the most respect are the ones that focus on just one thing, and do it extremely well.
To be the best, put all your focus, desire, passion, and commitment toward a single goal. Don’t stray until you achieve what you set out to do.
