INTRODUCTION
People’s concept of time is a fundamental component of their definition of appropriate business and personal conduct. In this chapter we look at two significantly different ways of considering time. Although these guide our actions most people are not aware that they exist – they only know there is their way, and the wrong way. Understanding the different ways in which we view time and how this affects the way Americans behave in their business dealings is critical to building productive relationships and achieving success.
