Analysis of Variance From Two or More Populations
In prior chapters, we explored the analysis of numerical data from one and two populations. This chapter expands our discussion of population means to accommodate the simultaneous analysis of multiple populations. With the increased complexity of multiple populations, we may find common attributes that cross the populations of interest and affect the variable we want to study. In such circumstances, appropriate design of the experiment generating the data to be analyzed becomes essential. More than other chapters, then, this chapter focuses on the experimental design leading to data collection for analysis.
