It had been a long week for Tim as well. On Saturday, he took a break from his usual chores and drove to the beach. He didn’t go to tan or swim. He just wanted to lay in the warm air and read. There was a growing pile of books beside his bed that he intended to read. He saw today as the perfect time to begin that process. The morning weather was glorious and the beach surprisingly empty.

As fate would have it, he would prove unsuccessful in finishing his book, but there was a serendipitous event awaiting him at the beach.
