34 The Turning Point
On Monday, Tim returned to Friedman to meet with his own team. Since he’d missed their normal Friday meeting, each team member gave a brief update on the progress they’d made the previous week.
Their work was on track. Those who had conducted Kaizen events the previous week gave a brief synopsis of their accomplishments. They’d updated the value stream map to reflect the new stats. Each had met or exceeded their event’s goals. As was the practice, after each event, they transitioned ownership of the process back to the supervisor.
