Chapter 2. Woodshop Mastery

My first and greatest love as a maker has always been working with wood. As long as I can remember I’ve stood in front of band saws and drill presses. I’ve created a lot of very fun projects, but also numerous practical and useful projects.

You can see both kinds of projects in this chapter. I’ll share four cool items I built in my woodshop, beginning with a large set of oak and mahogany tool drawers, then moving on to a dovetailed bench I created out of a massive piece of hardwood. From this practical and large-scale beginning I move on to two more whimsical projects.
