Now that we have discussed each of the four diversity management strategies—the paths to World-Class Diversity Management (WCDM)—what further can we say specifically about WCDM? What must be kept in mind when considering whether to work toward this status?

At this junction, CEOs should remember that they are building diversity management capability, and that they are not yet prepared to use the four strategies. They possess an intellectual understanding of diversity management but lack the wherewithal to actualize its strategies in practical applications.
