2.3. Ten Subprinciples of the "People" Principle

Let's look now systematically at how an IT department can go about "recruiting, training, and retaining World Class IT people." Figure 2.1 shows ten subprinciples for achieving these goals. As IT leaders strive to create the world-class company of today, it is equally important to ensure that junior staff develop the skills they will need to lead the world-class company of the future.
