This book is all about being practical—applying what we know in ways that will work. It took me lots of time to learn that, and I’m grateful to my teacher J. Oliver Black for impressing upon me how important that was. In addition to that, he also encouraged me to be creative and bold and above all to enjoy every moment of my life no matter what! That’s a tall order, but I’ve tried to do that and want to thank some of the people who helped me find joy in all things.
