SHOULD YOU GET A WRITING PARTNER?
As you begin your career, one thing you may want to consider is whether or not you want to work with a writing partner. In the industry, two writers that come together to form one writing entity are known as a writing team. I have worked both on my own and as part of a writing team. Both have advantages and disadvantages. You really just have to weigh the pros and cons and decide what is right for you. I will say, however, that in comedy, I think having a partner can be beneficial, especially when it comes to joke writing.
