We’ve been talking about the lack of rules in building a screenwriting career—what works for your friend may not work for you, and vice versa. And it’s true. There’s no such thing as a right or wrong. But there’s one thing that’s a definite: If you give up, you’re out. Not for good, necessarily. You could give up today and change your mind tomorrow. But this is one of the few things you can control in this business—whether you choose to persist.
