4.1 Introduction
The term “smart” is frequently used to characterize technologies that can do tasks autonomously. Even though cellphones are deemed “smart,” they cannot perform many tasks automatically. When the owner is driving, a smartphone, for example, cannot automatically turn off notifications or message alerts.
