So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tools of the Trade
Although there are many XML parsing packages to choose from, it's likely that no single XML parsing package will perfectly suit your needs. You will probably need to choose one based on a variety of tradeoffs. To help you understand how to make those tradeoffs, this section will present a number of XML parsers that are particularly worth looking at.
All of these parsers support the SAX API, and most of them also support DOM and other features.
You may find it useful to skim various collections of XML resources to get the latest information, because new packages may become available. Here are some sites:
