Using Active Channels

Before you learn about the specifics of the CDF vocabulary, let's take a quick moment to see how Active Channels are actually used. Active Channels are supported in the Internet Explorer Web browser starting with version 4.0. In version 4.0, there is a toolbar devoted solely to Active Channels. In version 5.0, Active Channels are incorporated as a subfolder under the Favorites folder, as shown in Figure 33.1
