WHEN HE WAS TWELVE YEARS OLD, Daniel Kovarbasich saw a cute dog being walked outside of his school. He walked up and petted the dog, and the owner asked if he wanted to take the puppy for a walk. Daniel knew he shouldn’t talk to strangers, so he refused. The man shrugged and walked away.
