Why Resign?
When should you resign a position?
As a general rule, you should resign when you have been unhappy and unproductive for a considerable length of time. Under such conditions, your career with the company has already been seriously damaged. A new start in a new environment would most likely be to your advantage.
People who are ambitious should look elsewhere for employment when they discover they have not been working close to their potential for a long time. They should seek opportunities elsewhere when their productivity has been down for months and they can’t seem to improve it. They should consider other options when their attitude has been negative for a long time and they do not seem to be able to do anything about it.
