Chapter 11. Connecting to a Corporate Network
Your notebook PC may be a work PC, assigned by your company’s IT department. Or you may occasionally bring your home notebook to the office, just because you can. In either instance, you’re faced with the challenge of connecting your notebook PC to your corporate network.
All of which brings us to the topic of this chapter—connecting your notebook PC to a corporate network. There are three ways to do this: via Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or remotely. Which connection methods are available to you depend on the corporation and its IT infrastructure.
