Destiny is a word that elicits powerful images of some far-off time and place that an individual reaches. It is the endpoint, hopefully a zenith. And yet it is also this thing that seems somewhat out of one’s control. It is at the top of the mountain or the end of the road. It is often portrayed as the height of success or a level of measurable greatness. But there is something about destiny that many do not realize, and in large part why it appears unreachable.
