Special Project—Creating Hockey Skates
ZBrush is often seen asa program that creates only characters or creatures, but the fact is that many artists are using ZBrush to create products, environments, toys, medical illustrations, and so much more. Pixologic has some great examples on their website at www.pixologic.com/zbrush/industry/.
For this project, I wanted to show that you can create something that is not a character. The hockey skates were completely created in ZBrush with a few simple techniques. With just a few clicks, you will learn how easy it is to create some of the complex pieces of the skates.
