Implementing AWS Operations Using ChatGPT-Generated Scripts and Automation

  • Explore how to create automation scripts and IaC templates for AWS using ChatGPT
  • Learn real-world uses with demonstrations of many automation types
  • Understand how to use current AWS and ChatGPT features, guidance, and best practices

Generative AI is a powerful new addition to the technology landscape, and we have barely scratched the surface of its usefulness. Hands-on AWS Operations with ChatGPT provides 4 hours of hands-on training exploring how to use generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to create automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates.

Taught by expert trainer and author Chad Smith, Hands-on AWS Operations with ChatGPT provides focused training on using Large Language Models (LLMs) for real work, focusing on security, networking, compute, storage, and database operations. You will also learn how to ask ChatGPT effective questions so you can improve results.

What you’ll learn and how you can apply it

By the end of the live online course, you’ll understand:

  • How to prompt ChatGPT to create commands to perform essential AWS operations with the AWS CLI
  • The logic required to generate entire scripts using Bash and Python with the appropriate description and details
  • How to iteratively improve the results by providing clarification and further details in the conversation

And you’ll be able to:

  • Create your own automation scripts and templates using ChatGPT
  • Analyze the scripts and template results to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Recognize the limitations of the technology

This live event is for you because...

  • You’re an AWS technology professional
  • You're responsible for deploying AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code
  • You’re responsible for performing AWS operations in any technology discipline, including security, networking, and system administration

Prerequisites

  • Entry-level knowledge of AWS services and features, such as: EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS
  • Entry-level knowledge of automation tools, including: AWS CLI, Bash, Python, CloudFormation and Terraform
