AI at Home

A practical filter for using AI in parenting, finance, and health
What you’ll learn and how you can apply it
- Apply a risk-reward filter to everyday AI use at home across parenting, household finance, and personal health
- Identify two or three specific use cases in your own life where AI can save time without compromising values, privacy, or accuracy
- Draft one AI-assisted “life admin” workflow you can put into practice within a week
Course description
Most people who work with AI professionally haven’t translated those habits to their homelife. Someone who can spot a hallucination in a draft at work still may feel uncertain about whether AI is a reasonable resource for information about kids’ homework, taxes, or medication for an aging parent.
This one-hour course with Stephanie LeBlanc-Godfrey gives you a simple decision filter for when AI is useful at home, when it’s risky, and when to skip it altogether. You’ll then apply that filter to three domains where the stakes are real: parenting, household finance, and personal health. You’ll see the filter applied to specific use cases, draft one AI-assisted workflow you can put into practice this week, and leave with a one-page reference you can share with a partner or coparent.
