Published by Pearson
Get Ready to Crush the CKA Exam!
- Learn to demonstrate Kubernetes competence through live demos in a command-line environment
- Learn to perform the responsibilities of a Kubernetes administrator
- Practice with interactive lab assignments in class so you can learn by doing
Kubernetes is taking over IT. No matter if you're using cloud or IT in your own datacenter, Kubernetes can be used to offer IT workload in orchestrated containers. This course prepares you for the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam, which is the standard Kubernetes certification. Certified Kubernetes Administrator is the perfect follow up to the CKAD exam. In CKA, candidates will be tested on their ability to build Kubernetes clusters and configure advanced features, such as networking, storage, and scheduling, apart from the tasks that focus on managing Kubernetes based workloads. You will focus on the skills required to be a successful Kubernetes Administrator.
In this very hands-on training, students will learn the skills needed to prepare for the CKA exam successfully. Learn key topics and then practice your skills during the lab sessions. This class covers the latest CKA objectives and is kept up to date with the latest version of the exam.
What you’ll learn and how you can apply it
- Creating a Kubernetes Cluster with kubeadm
- Managing multi-container Pods
- Configuring Persistent Storage
- Managing Application Access
- Using NetworkPolicy
- Managing Node Services and Pods
- Performing Cluster Administration Tasks
- Managing Scheduling
- Configuring Role Based Access Control
- Managing Quota and Resource Limits
This live event is for you because...
- You need to learn advanced skills that are required for managing Kubernetes networks.
- You are studying for and want to pass the CKA exam.
- You want to gain hand-on real-world skills required to pass the exam.
Prerequisites
- This is not an entry level Kubernetes course, make sure you meet the prerequisites before coming to this course.
Course Set-up:
- To work through the labs in this course, please install and configure your own lab environment. This environment consists of 3 virtual machines, each running the latest version of Ubuntu Server LTS. A guided installation will be done in the course. The course GitHub repository provides instructions on how to perform the initial virtual machine setup.
