Course description

Even though you may use Claude for writing, brainstorming, and research, if you aren’t a developer, you probably stay away from Claude Code. But you shouldn’t! Claude Code is one of the most powerful, versatile, and accessible tools on the market for improving the productivity of all professionals, regardless of your technical background or skills.

In this hands-on workshop run by expert Mark Kashef, you’ll learn to leverage Claude Code as your personal development “team” and productivity agent to build custom applications, automate workflows, and replace expensive SaaS tools. You’ll also discover how to achieve immediate productivity wins by creating tools to help with data analysis, project management, and marketing—all without writing a single line of code.

To hit the ground running, it's imperative that you install Claude Code before the course begins, as no time will be devoted to installation during the course. Get set up, join Mark, and see what you can do with Claude Code, no matter what your role is.

Prerequisites

Course Preparation:

To get the most out of this course, students ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to complete installation of Claude Code BEFORE Day 1. Time will NOT be spent on setting up Claude Code during the course.

  1. Install Claude Code using Mark Kashef's YouTube tutorial and test with a simple "Hello World" command
  2. Obtain Anthropic Pro Plan (minimum $20)
  3. Create free GitHub account
  4. Verify terminal access. Pre-watch recommended: Videos 1-3 from "Claude Code Zero-to-Hero" playlist (~30 min).

Claude Code foundations and quick wins (65 minutes)

  • Presentation: The power of Claude Code; the vibe coding workflow
  • Demonstration: From Lovable to Claude Code; building a landing page in five minutes; building a workflow automation tool (e.g., marketing campaign builder)
  • Hands-on exercise: Build a simple contact form website and deploy it live
  • Q&A

Intermediate power (75 minutes)

  • Presentation: Understand how markdown files become knowledge systems; replacing expensive SaaS tools; identifying which $20–$200/month tools you can rebuild; making apps beautiful with Aura; UI/UX with Claude Code; transform ugly to gorgeous in minutes
  • Demonstration: Building a company knowledge base GPT from scratch; recreating a simple dashboard; calculating potential annual savings
  • Hands-on exercise: Build a project manager/scrum master progress tracker

Advanced power (65 minutes)

  • Hands-on exercises: Build an automated workflow that turns meeting transcripts into structured tasks; make the workflow customizable and reusable; build an analytics dashboard with real business metrics and deploy it

    Mark Kashef is the founder of Prompt Advisers, an AI consultancy that has helped hundreds of businesses seamlessly integrate generative AI into their workflows. With over a decade of experience in data science and machine learning, he has served in the roles of data scientist and data science manager at multiple startups. Through his popular YouTube channel, Mark helps professionals quickly understand and apply the latest AI innovations to solve real-world business challenges. He also has a background in finance, enabling him to combine technical depth with strategic business insight.

    Mark regularly delivers keynote talks, moderates panels, and appears on podcasts, offering insight into how AI is transforming the way we work.
