Exam DP-200: Implementing a Microsoft Azure Data Solution Crash Course
Published by Pearson
Exam DP-200, Implementing an Azure Data Solution, is one of two exams required to earn the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate role-based certification. According to Microsoft, the DP-200 exam is intended for "Microsoft Azure data engineers who collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet the data requirements to implement data solutions that use Azure data services."
This course is also appropriate for non-certification candidates who need to deep-dive into the Microsoft Azure data platform from an engineer's viewpoint.
What you’ll learn and how you can apply it
At course conclusion, you will be able to:
- Implement data storage solutions in Azure
- Manage and develop data processing by using Azure products and technologies
- Monitor and optimize Azure-based data solutions
This live event is for you because...
The audience for this course consists of:
- Azure Data Engineer Associate certification candidates
- Azure Database Administrator Associate certification candidates
- IT industry newcomers or mid-career job changers who need to evaluate whether cloud computing and data engineering is the right fit for them
- IT professionals who need to learn how Microsoft Azure implements data engineering (for example, what's involved in migrating local, on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure)
Prerequisites
Exam DP-200 represents an intermediate-level skill set.
The core prerequisites are:
- Intermediate computing skills
- Intermediate database knowledge (unstructured vs semi-structured data, relational, non-relational data models)
- Intermediate Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
- Basic Azure skills (know your way around the Azure portal, Azure PowerShell)
