Prerequisites

  • Virtualization software (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware, KVM) capable of hosting a Linux VM
  • A free Red Hat Developer account to automatically receive the no-cost RHEL Developer Subscription entitling you to install RHEL on up to 16 personal virtual or physical system
  • The RHEL 10 DVD ISO downloaded (approximately 10 GB for x86_64)—the full installer image required for server or workstation use
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 or 9
  • Familiarity with the Linux command line
  • Basic understanding of containerization
