Andy Still has worked in the web industry since 1998, leading development on some of the highest traffic sites in the UK. After 10 years in the development space, Andy co-founded Intechnica (http://www.intechnica.co.uk), a vendor independent IT performance consultancy to focus on helping companies improve performance on their IT systems, particularly websites. Andy focuses on improving the integration of performance into every stage of the development cycle with a particular interest in the integration of performance into the CI process.
Andy is one of the organizers of the Web Performance Group North UK and Amazon Web Services NW UK User Group, blogs regularly at Internet Performance Expert (http://internetperformanceexpert.com) and Performance Patterns (http://performance-patterns.com), and started the programming initiative Progvember (http://progvember.com).
