Dhritiman Dasgupta (aka DD) is the Vice President of Marketing for the Data Center Solutions organization, which is chartered to help customers evaluate, deploy, and manage their data center infrastructure, operations, and business processes in order to respond faster to the application changes and market dynamics in real time. DD brings more than two decades of experience in networking from a wide variety of roles including software development, product management, business development, and corporate marketing, to name a few. Prior to Cisco, DD was the Vice President of Marketing at Avi Networks, a fast-growing startup that is disrupting the application delivery market through innovative, intent-based approaches. Before that he was a Vice President at Juniper Networks where he headed up Juniper’s data center, security, and SDN marketing efforts. His most notable achievements include the launch of the award-winning QFabric and MetaFabric systems. Prior to Juniper, DD spent 9 years at Cisco Systems in the LAN and Data Center switching divisions heading up product management for several multi-billion dollar platforms including the Catalyst series switches. A well-rounded leader and avid golfer, DD appreciates both science and art, and thus enjoys playing the bass guitar for several bands in the Bay Area
